In 1996, as a 13 year old, LeeAnn Rimes released the single Blue. Some critics thought she sounded like Patsy Cline and indeed she did. With that album, the little 13 year old sold 37 million albums. Fame began for her at such an early age. According to People.com, before the age of 25, LeAnn had won two Grammy Awards, three Academy of Country Music honors, and 12 Billboard Awards.
LeAnns been a busy lady lately, with a new single being released July 18 take a listen here. Shes also currently on tour. As I type, shes probably preparing for her show tomorrow night in Myrtle Beach, SC! LeAnns using her tour to try to ignore the negative press surrounding the claims that she is anorexic or bulimic.
LeAnns Trainer, Michael Jackson, tried to squash these rumors saying, “For a typical workout, we warm up with about five to 10 minutes of jump rope. Then, we’ll get going with some light, dynamic stretching. But LeAnn usually likes to start boxing first. When she comes into the gym, she’s usually just gotten off a plane and she needs to work some stuff out, so we’ll do some boxing, using traditional boxing techniques. We’ll also work on the core, legs and hips. We do arms more than anything. I know a lot of people think boxing is just punching, but proper technique involves working out the quads, butt, back and core—things a lot of women like to work on.”
LeAnns been tweeting about the food shes been eating. One tweet says, SUSHI tonightYUMmy heaven. “She eats a lot of lean meats—fish, chicken—maybe on occasion, lean turkey,” said her trainer. “A lot of vegetables—broccoli, carrots and asparagus. And I try to have LeAnn eat some fruit like oranges or apples before 3 o’clock. The reason for that is because fruits contain a lot of sugar, and sugar metabolizes into carbs, so I try to have her eat that before she really gets active. Fruits are a good source of energy—much better than energy drinks.”
She was just recently seen on vacation with her family, unafraid to show her body while she poses for a pic with her hubby Eddie Cibrian. We love her cherry-red bikini!
