It’s no secret; here at Lovelyish HQ, we L-O-V-E Essie nail polish. Denise just reviewed the brand’s ‘Meet Me at Sunset,’ a super flattering orange shade (yes, orange!). I have a few bottles of Essie polish, ranging from a pretty turquoise to a bright coral hue but I recently received a bottle of ‘Lilacism’ as an early birthday present and OMG is it legal to marry a nail polish yet? I can’t get enough of the pretty lavender color and I think it has potential to be a flattering shade for any skin tone. Brad Pitt Wants You To Get Married
Brad Pitt is more than just the hunk of the century. This actor and producer is also a father and activist but not a husbandyet. Brads known for speaking up for the legalization of same-sex marriage, a cause he most recently championed on People.com. During this interview, he said he wont marry until everyone can.
Gossip sources say he may be reneging this claim. Rumors are flying that Brad and Angelina Jolie are getting married for the sake of their six children. Course, these claims come from the National Enquirer, so well wait for wedding photos to confirm.
In other news? Brad’s latest project “World War Z” based on the novel by Max Brooks. According to hello!magazine.com, “The book tells the story of the world in the aftermath of the war against zombies” and is being filmed on the Mediterranean island Malta. The best part? Not having to miss Angie and the little Jolie-Pitts because they are staying at the Guarena Palace nearby!
According to hello!magazine.com, the eighteenth-century building was “originally destined to protect against attack by Arabs and pirates” but has since been “equipped with all the modern facilities.” Just like Brad has equipped himself with these retro tortoise sunglasses!

Haute Couture Autumn/Winter 2011: Valentino
Famous for their fairy-tale ball gowns, house of Valentino designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Picciolo did not disappoint this year presenting a collection fit for the next generation of princesses. Held at one of Paris most luxurious and exclusive venues, Place Vendôme, the venue matched medieval princess theme of the collection. Attracting Valentino devotées such as Anne Hathaway and Amanda Peet, the show featured heavily embellished gilt gowns in shades of nude, white and black, but with only one red dress this year.
Inspiration for the old-world style collection was taken from Russian aristocratic émigrés who came to Paris after the Revolution said Maria after the show. Many of the pieces featured higher necklines, but were sheer to highlight the appliqued floral detail, beaded embellishments or ruffles that swept the floor. There were also several very wearable coats, in particular a white floor length cape and black velvet jacket with gold coin detail.
With a collection featuring such rich fabric such as devoré panné velvets and gold thread, perhapps we will next see these dresses on the Duchess of Cambridge or Princess Charlene of Monaco.
Journalist Claims Lady Gaga Has An Eating Disorder, Is ‘Obsessed With Her Weight’
So-called investigative journalist Ian Halperin (whos written unauthorized biographies of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Celine Dion, Brangelina and more) has spent the last twelve months working on his Lady Gaga tell-all. As part of his promotional tour, Halperin gave an interview to in which he makes a lot of explosive claims (that the superstar wears outlandish costumes and makeup to conceal her lupus, for one) but devotes a lot of time to talk of Gagas alleged eating disorder:
